Trade · Drywall
Drywall installer
You build partitions, ceilings and wall linings with plasterboard over a metal frame. It's a precision trade: measuring correctly, mounting straight and leaving perfect joints.
Work
Why there's work in drywall
Drylining is used more and more in new housing, offices and renovations, and installation companies can't find enough professionals. It's the trade our founder started out in.
What you'll learn
- Reading a simple plan and setting out on site: marking where each partition goes.
- Building the frame: tracks, studs and reinforcements.
- Fitting and screwing boards onto partitions, wall linings and ceilings.
- Thermal and acoustic insulation inside the partition.
- Joints, taping and finishing ready for paint.
- Tools, measurements and safe work at height.
- Trade-specific health-and-safety training (PRL).
How long it lasts and what it's like
Partly in the workshop, partly on a real site from the start. We confirm the group's duration and schedule once you sign up.
Where you end up working
At an installation or construction company that requested your profile before the group even started. Housing, office or renovation work, depending on the opening.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need experience?
No. You start from scratch and learn in the workshop and on site.
Do you guarantee me a contract once I finish?
The group opens because a construction company has requested these profiles, and our job is to see you through to joining them. What's on you is learning the trade and performing on site.
Do I get paid while I train?
No. There's no pay during the training.
What if I don't speak Spanish well?
You can still join. You'll get support with site vocabulary and someone to explain things in your language.
